About Laura Schneider
Passion projects are the essence of life! Before delving into her professional background, Laura proudly shares her accomplishments as an author. Under a fictitious name, she has published several novels, including one that earned her an award. Additionally, she has written numerous screenplays with the hope of capturing the attention of a movie producer one day. Laura also challenges herself by learning new languages, which she can practice during her frequent travels. She is fluent in German and is currently mastering Spanish and French.
In 1998, Laura earned her Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University, College Station, and began her career as a mechanical engineer, focusing on metalworking and the manufacture of large components with short production runs. With her background as a design and manufacturing engineer, Laura possesses valuable intuition regarding what sets a new design apart.
In 2004, Laura embarked on her intellectual property journey, gaining valuable experience at Hoffman Eitle European Patent Attorneys in Munich, Germany. She became a registered patent agent in 2010 and pursued her Juris Doctor degree at The University of Colorado, Boulder, graduating in 2013. Admitted to the bar in 2014, she founded Schneider IP Law LLC in 2018, which she later rebranded as Rogue.law.
